About Tamara

Tamara Meyer —therapist, author and international consultant— has been in clinical practice since 1976. Her practice in Potomac, Maryland caters to both children and adults and she also functions as part of a medical team for patients with acute injuries and illnesses. Tamara’s patients have consistently obtained successful results after exhausting numerous other treatments. Ms. Meyer offers lectures and courses within the medical community with the intention of integrating traditional and alternative medicine.

As president of Workwell, Tamara creates and delivers dynamic and innovative programs for corporations, U.S. government agencies, and non-profit organizations as well as the general public. She has also appeared on local and national television and radio, and has been featured in local, national, and international print media.

From 1975 to 1979 Ms. Meyer practiced in one of the first holistic medical centers in the U.S., in Bethesda, Maryland learning early the importance of creating a bridge between traditional Western and alternative/integrative medicine. She is licensed by the Maryland Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is nationally certified by the NCBTMB. She is a long time member of the International Association of Healthcare Practitioners. Her book, Help Your Baby Build a Healthy Body was published by Crown Publishers of New York in 1985 and The Japan Uni Agency of Tokyo in 1986.
